Axel
Position: Founder, Business Manager and Captain
Professional Experience: Originally from Bastia, Axel began his career in the maritime industry after obtaining his 200 UMS captain's diploma from the Bastia Maritime School in 2010. That year, he headed to the French Riviera where he would spend two years. During this period, he worked as a skipper on yachts ranging up to 20 meters. Subsequently, he took on a sailor position on a 25-meter sailboat for a season.
He later moved to Marseille to work for SNCM. In 2014, he returned to Corsica and also obtained his 750 kW Chief Engineer diploma. He worked in Saint Florent and Porto Vecchio, then joined La Méridionale in 2017 while preparing his entrepreneurial project. In 2018, he realized his project with Cap Corse Croisiere.

Personal Information: Outside of his professional responsibilities, Axel is passionate about sailing, scuba diving, and spearfishing, nurturing his love for the depths of the sea. He is also interested in history in general and science, with a particular interest in understanding the past and modern technological advancements.
Captain Tibere
Position: Captain
Professional Experience:
Originally from Figarella, north of Bastia, Tibere began his professional career in the field of graphic design, where he developed a keen eye for detail and creativity. However, his passion for the sea never left him. In 2021, he decided to pursue his maritime calling by starting as a sailor. He then worked on a sailboat for day trips for two seasons, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
In 2021, Tibere joined the Captain 200 UMS training program at the Maritime High School of Bastia, which he successfully completed. Armed with his new skills, he joined Cap Corse Cruises in 2023, where he currently serves as captain. In 2024, he expanded his qualifications by obtaining the Chief Engineer 750 kW diploma.
